The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 46.81 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 2.53 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 1750.20 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 60.51 per cent at Rs 535.21 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 333.44 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 55.61 per cent to Rs 385.17 crore from Rs 247.53 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 1.97 per cent at Rs 3.10 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 3.04 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 74.65 per cent to Rs 150.04 crore as against Rs 85.91 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 8.81 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 14.02 per cent y-o-y to Rs 30.00 crore, while Taxation increased by 726.50 per cent at Rs 26.20 crore (Mar'20 Rs 3.17 crore).
