Bharti Airtel hits new 52-week high on launching 5G telecom services in eight cities

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 810.05, up by 10.30 points or 1.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 799.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 808.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 814.00 and Rs. 797.20 respectively. So far 166785 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 814.00 on 3-Oct-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 629.05 on 14-Jul-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 814.00 and Rs. 753.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 480431.74 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.93%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.76% and 5.31% respectively.

Bharti Airtel is launching 5G telecom services in eight cities, including four metros, and will progressively cover the entire country by March 2024. With this, the company has become the first company to launch 5G services in the country.

5G from Airtel will be available in 8 cities - Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Siliguri, Varanasi, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata.
