Bajaj Electricals gains despite reporting marginal fall in Q2 consolidated net profit

Bajaj Electricals is currently trading at Rs. 1161.25, up by 2.70 points or 0.23% from its previous closing of Rs. 1158.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1154.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1169.95 and Rs. 1151.30 respectively. So far 3754 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1378.00 on 22-Dec-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 857.55 on 17-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1179.25 and Rs. 1146.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 13322.43 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.91%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.10% and 13.97% respectively.

Bajaj Electricals has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2022.

The company has reported a rise of 3.18% in its net profit at Rs 63.90 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 61.93 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 5.88% at Rs 1240.18 crore for Q2FY23 as compared Rs 1317.61 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported marginal fall of 0.88% in its net profit at Rs 62.00 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 62.55 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 6.02% at Rs 1243.51 crore for Q2FY23 as compared Rs 1323.19 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
