* The BSE Sensex ended at 52,551.53 up by 76.77 points or 0.15% after trading in a range of 52,590.92 and 51,936.31. There were 15 stocks advancing and 15 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in red; the BSE Mid cap index down by 0.68%, and Small cap index was down by 0.16%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Oil & Gas was up by 0.37%, Energy was up by 0.81%, and FMCG was up by 0.04%, while, Utilities was down by 0.96%, Capital Goods was down by 0.48%, Realty was down by 1.55%, and Telecom was down by 0.10%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were Reliance was up by 1.46%, Bajaj Finance was up by 1.23%, ONGC was up by 1.05%, Infosys was up by 1.01%, and Power Grid was up by 0.97%, the top gainers were on the Sensex

* There were Kotak Bank was down by 1.51%, HDFC was down by 0.76%, Sun Pharma was down by 0.59%, Bajaj Auto was down by 0.57% and NTPC was down by 0.51%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 15,811.85 up by 12.50 points or 0.08% after trading in a range of 15,823.05 and 15,606.50. There were 25 stocks advancing and 25 stocks declining.
