Larsen & Toubro is an Indian multinational engaged in engineering, procurement and construction projects, manufacturing, defence and services. L&T has secured orders from prestigious clients for its various businesses in India. (1) The Water & Effluent Treatment business has won a repeat order from the Uttar Pradesh State Water & Sanitation Mission (SWSM) to implement rural water supply projects providing Functional House Tap Connection (FHTC) under the Jal Jeevan Mission. (2) The Buildings & Factories business has secured an order from a reputed developer to construct residential towers in Mumbai's suburb of Mulund. Both expected order value is between Rs1,000 to Rs2,500cr.This is a positive development for the company, which would support revenue growth for FY22.
