Zydus Lifesciences rises on launching Riociguat Tablets in US in partnership with MSN Laboratories

Zydus Lifesciences is currently trading at Rs. 1152.05, up by 13.55 points or 1.19% from its previous closing of Rs. 1138.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1146.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1,156.15 and Rs. 1146.55 respectively. So far 232 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1232.00 on 29-Sep-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 835.85 on 02-Apr-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1,210.30 and Rs. 1123.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 113565.81 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.01%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.15% and 6.83% respectively.

Zydus Lifesciences, in partnership with MSN Laboratories (MSN), has launched Riociguat Tablets, 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 1.5 mg, 2 mg and 2.5 mg, in the United States. Zydus and MSN are the first companies to launch a generic version of Adempas (riociguat) in the U.S. market. The product was developed and is manufactured by MSN. 

Riociguat Tablets are approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) as a generic equivalent of Adempas Tablets in all five strengths. Riociguat is a soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC) stimulator indicated for the treatment of adults with persistent or recurrent chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH, WHO Group 4) after surgical treatment, or inoperable CTEPH, to improve exercise capacity and WHO functional class; and for adults with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH, WHO Group 1), to improve exercise capacity, improve WHO functional class and to delay clinical worsening.
