Zodiac Energy gains on completing acquisition of 63.5% stake in Zenwatt

Zodiac Energy is currently trading at Rs. 233.40, up by 1.65 points or 0.71% from its previous closing of Rs. 231.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 234.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 235.80 and Rs. 232.40 respectively. So far 1150 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 415.05 on 07-Nov-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 204.00 on 01-Apr-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 236.15 and Rs. 216.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 357.30 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.97%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.34% and 29.70% respectively.

Zodiac Energy has completed the acquisition of a majority equity stake of 63.5% in Zenwatt Clean Energy. Post this acquisition, Zenwatt Clean Energy (Zenwatt) has become a subsidiary of the company with effect from September 21, 2026. The cost of acquisition is around Rs 1.14 crore.

The acquisition would result in further expansion of the business of the company and support the company's long-term business expansion strategy, expand its renewable energy portfolio, and strengthen its operational capabilities.

Earlier, the Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on February 09, 2026, had approved the approved the strategic investment in and acquisition of an equity stake in Zenwatt.
