Redevelopment, especially in land-scarce cities, is unlocking new supply and improving the use of existing urban space. Premium and luxury housing continues to see steady demand, supported by HNIs and NRIs. Real estate remains a critical pillar of the economy, contributing nearly 6–7% of GDP. However, long-term ROI is now driven more by infrastructure quality and supply, with plotted and low-density projects gaining momentum.
