WhiteOak Capital MF introduces Special Opportunities Fund

WhiteOak Capital Mutual Fund (MF) has launched WhiteOak Capital Special Opportunities Fund, an open-ended equity scheme following special situations theme. The NFO opens for subscription on May 15, 2024 and closes on May 29, 2024. The Entry load is nil for the scheme. The Exit Load: In respect of each purchase / switch-in of Units, an Exit Load of 1.00% is payable - if Units are redeemed/ switched-out within 1 month from the date of allotment and No Exit Load is payable - if Units are redeemed / switched-out after 1 month from the date of allotment. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 500 and in multiples of Re 1/- thereafter.

The performance of the scheme will be benchmarked against S&P BSE 500 Total Return Index (TRI) and its fund managers are Dheeresh Pathak (Equity), Trupti Agrawal (Assistant Fund Manager- Equity) and Piyush Baranwal (For Debt Securities).

The investment objective of the scheme is to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing in opportunities presented by special situations such as corporate restructuring (including mergers & acquisitions etc.), government policy and/or regulatory changes, technology led disruption and innovation, new trends, new & emerging sectors, companies/sectors going through temporary unique challenges and other similar instances.
