Waa Solar shines on executing PPAs with MPPMCL

Waa Solar is currently trading at Rs. 72.12, up by 6.35 points or 9.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 65.77 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 69.38 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 74.50 and Rs. 68.00 respectively. So far 151200 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'M' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 90.75 on 25-Apr-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 40.90 on 29-Dec-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 74.50 and Rs. 53.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 95.52 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.86%, while Non-Institutions held 32.14% stake in the company.  

Waa Solar has executed Seven Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company (MPPMCL) (a Government of M.P. Undertaking) aggregating to a total capacity of 48.15 MW, for concessions awarded under Feeder level Solarization, PM-KUSUM C Yojana. Project tenure is 25 years from the Scheduled Commissioning Date (SCD).

The company shall Generate the electricity through the Solar Power Project having cumulative capacity of 48.15 MW will sell the energy to MPPMCL at the approved tariff ranging from Rs 2.73 to Rs 2.75 per unit, for the project tenure.
