Vikran Engineering soars on winning order worth Rs 153.76 crore from POWERGRID
Vikran Engineering is currently trading at Rs. 60.66, up by 4.59 points or 8.19% from its previous closing of Rs. 56.07 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 58.57 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 62.65 and Rs. 57.60 respectively. So far 624868 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 118.40 on 20-Nov-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 51.11 on 30-Mar-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 62.65 and Rs. 55.11 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1562.94 crore.

Vikran Engineering has secured a new order worth around Rs 153.76 crore (exclusive of GST) from Power Grid Corporation of India (POWERGRID) for the 400 kV AIS Extension Substation Package SS136T. Awarded through Domestic Competitive Bidding, the project strengthens the company’s presence in high-voltage transmission infrastructure and adds a significant order to its growing order book.
The project involves the extension of the 400/220 kV Tumkur-II (AIS) Pooling Substation and civil works for 300 MVAR STATCOM at Tumkur-II (AIS) Pooling Substation. The project is associated with transmission system strengthening at Tumkur-II for integration of additional renewable energy potential of 2.7 GW through the tariff based competitive bidding route.
The company’s scope includes design, engineering, manufacture, testing and supply of equipment and materials, along with transportation, unloading, storage, erection, testing and commissioning required for complete execution of the package. The work is structured under separate supply of goods and supply of services contracts, with the overall execution schedule stipulated at 21 months from the date of issuance of the Notification of Award.
