VA Tech Wabag gains on wining order from RIL to deliver ETP at Jamnagar
VA Tech Wabag is currently trading at Rs. 2021.00, up by 15.75 points or 0.79% from its previous closing of Rs. 2005.25 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 2043.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2062.85 and Rs. 2,009.20 respectively. So far 8479 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2252.40 on 13-Jul-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1033.95 on 27-Jan-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2078.30 and Rs. 1950.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 12634.86 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 19.08%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.59% and 56.34% respectively.
VA Tech Wabag has secured a ‘Medium’ order from the Reliance Industries (RIL), towards design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection & commissioning of an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), at Dhirubhai Ambani Green Energy Giga Complex (DAGEGC), Jamnagar. The ‘Medium’ order is valued in the range of Rs 100 crore to Rs 250 crore.
The proposed ETP scheduled to be completed in 13 months will be designed comprising chemical and biological treatment using the state-of the art technologies, along with a sludge treatment incorporating low-temperature drying for efficient sludge management.
