UltraTech Cement trades higher on raising Rs 5000 crore via NCDs
Ultratech Cement is currently trading at Rs. 12045.50, up by 140.80 points or 1.18% from its previous closing of Rs. 11904.70 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 11855.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 12,049.00 and Rs. 11855.20 respectively. So far 6602 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 13104.00 on 10-Feb-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 10329.00 on 23-Mar-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 12087.00 and Rs. 11755.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 354796.67 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.33%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 32.59% and 8.08% respectively.
UltraTech Cement has raised Rs 5000 crore through the allotment of 5,00,000 fully paid, unsecured, listed, rated, redeemable, rupee denominated, non-convertible, non-cumulative debentures (NCDs) of Rs 1,00,000 each on private placement basis. The Finance Committee of the Board of Directors of the company has on August 3, 2026 approved allotment of the same.
UltraTech Cement is the largest manufacturer of grey cement, Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) and white cement in India.
