TMPV plunges on reporting 80% drop in Q1 consolidated net profit

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 457.04 on 03-Oct-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 294.15 on 30-Mar-2026.

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPV) has reported 98.58% drop in its net profit at Rs 75 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1FY27) as compared to Rs 5,266 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased by 11.81% at Rs 17,993 crore for Q1FY27 as compared to Rs 16,093 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On consolidated basis, the company has reported 80.25% drop in its net profit at Rs 775 crore for Q1FY27 as compared to Rs 3,924 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased by 9.03% at Rs 96,928 crore for Q1FY27 as compared to Rs 88,903 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
