Telecom infra sector stocks gain after government proposes to reduce BCD to 10% on Carrier Grade ethernet switches

Telecommunication infra sector stocks gained after FM Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the government propose to reduce the BCD from 20% to 10% on Carrier Grade ethernet switches to make it at par with Non-Carrier Grade ethernet switches.
HFCL is currently trading at Rs. 102.77, up by 4.77 points or 4.87% from its previous closing of Rs. 98.00 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 99.87 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 106.45 and Rs. 97.33 respectively. So far 916042 shares were traded on the counter.
Bharti Hexacom is currently trading at Rs. 1366.45, up by 7.10 points or 0.52 % from its previous closing of Rs. 1359.35 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 1360.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1404.70 and Rs. 1334.75 respectively. So far 3221 shares were traded on the counter.
ITI is currently trading at Rs. 327.50, up by 3.15 points or 0.97 % from its previous closing of Rs. 324.35 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 320.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 339.90 and Rs. 310.25 respectively. So far 32115 shares were traded on the counter.
