TCS soars on reporting 15% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Tata Consultancy Services is currently trading at Rs. 2161.00, up by 85.75 points or 4.13% from its previous closing of Rs. 2075.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2088.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2,173.55 and Rs. 2088.85 respectively. So far 3601 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3336.70 on 03-Feb-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1976.00 on 01-Jul-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2,173.55 and Rs. 2059.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 750843.61 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.77%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.53% and 5.69% respectively.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has reported 19.24% rise in its net profit at Rs 14,104 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 (Q2FY27) as compared to Rs 11,828 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company has increased by 12.77% at Rs 63,490 crore for Q2FY27 as compared to Rs 56,299 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 14.98% rise in its net profit at Rs 13,884 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 12,075 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company increased by 11.79% at Rs 74,525 crore for Q2FY27 as compared to Rs 66,666 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
