Tata Steel moves up on reporting over three-fold jump in Q2 consolidated net profit

The scrip opened at Rs. 184.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 184.20 and Rs. 180.95 respectively. So far 1673916 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 187.00 on 29-Oct-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 122.60 on 13-Jan-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 184.20 and Rs. 175.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 227261.32 crore.

Tata Steel has reported 13.06% rise in its net profit at Rs 4,060.13 crore for second quarter ended September 30, 2025 (Q2FY26) as compared to Rs 3,590.99 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company increased by 6.13% at Rs 35,289.67 crore for Q2FY26 as compared to Rs 33,250.94 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On consolidated basis, the company has reported over three-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 3,101.75 crore for Q2FY26 as compared to Rs 833.45 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company increased by 8.35% at Rs 59,052.84 crore for Q2FY26 as compared to Rs 54,503.30 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
