Syngene International jumps on inking pacts to invest Rs 2.52 crore in Ampin C&I Power Twelve
Syngene International is currently trading at Rs. 405.70, up by 7.30 points or 1.83% from its previous closing of Rs. 398.40 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 401.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 404.15 and Rs. 397.00 respectively. So far 15246 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 678.00 on 07-Jan-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 375.50 on 30-Jul-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 413.00 and Rs. 394.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 16,376.86 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.59%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 39.83% and 7.58% respectively.
Syngene International has entered into a share subscription and shareholders agreement / power purchase agreement with Ampin C&I Power Twelve (AMPIN) for the purpose of acquisition of renewable power. The company will invest Rs 2.52 crore towards subscription of 25,20,000 equity shares of AMPIN at Rs 10 per equity share. The allotment of the equity shares to the company is expected to take place in one or more tranches within 30 days or such other date mutually agreed between the parties.
The acquisition is aimed at maintaining captive status as per Electricity Act. This acquisition aligns with the company’s renewable energy objectives, supporting the procurement of green energy and advancing its decarbonization goals and will help the company in reducing its energy cost and carbon footprint.
