Sterlite Technologies zooms on bagging Rs 2631.14 crore contract from BSNL

Sterlite Technologies is currently trading at Rs. 87.16, up by 10.10 points or 13.11% from its previous closing of Rs. 77.06 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 84.51 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 88.79 and Rs. 83.93 respectively. So far 1454870 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 115.97 on 30-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 53.90 on 05-May-2025.

Sterlite Technologies (STL), through its Global Services Business (the demerged business vertical), in consortium with Dilip Buildcon, has entered into an Agreement with Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) on June 11, 2025.
The Agreement pertains to the design, supply, construction, installation, upgradation, operation, and maintenance of the middle-mile network under BharatNet for the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh Telecom Circles - Package 13.
Broad commercial consideration or size of the order (s) / contract (s) is Rs 2631.14 crore (inclusive of GST). The project includes a three-year construction phase, followed by a 10-year maintenance contract.
