Sterlite Technologies hits upper circuit on bagging order worth Rs 960 crore

Sterlite Technologies is currently trading at its upper circuit limit of Rs. 584.30, up by 27.80 points or 5.00% from its previous closing of Rs. 556.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 584.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 584.30 and Rs. 584.30 respectively. So far 6434 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'T' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 684.45 on 05-Jun-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 84.65 on 27-Jan-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 592.45 and Rs. 498.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 30027.83 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 44.51%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.65% and 25.83% respectively.

Sterlite Technologies has received an order worth around Rs 960 crore from Domestic Telecom Operator for the supply of optical fibre cables as per customer specifications under a multi-year supply agreement. The agreement is for a period of 2 years and is extendable by another 2 years on mutual agreement.

The order is scheduled to executed in FY28 and FY29 (further extendable by another 2 years on mutual agreement)
