Sterling and Wilson Renewable touches roof on reporting consolidated net profit of Rs 8.57 crore in Q2FY25

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy is currently trading at upper limit of Rs. 583.00, up by 27.75 points or 5.00% from its previous closing of Rs. 555.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 565.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 583.00 and Rs. 552.50 respectively. So far 652839 shares were traded on the counter.

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy has reported over 5-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 75.02 crore for second quarter ended September 30, 2024 (Q2FY25) as compared to Rs 14.87 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 50.38% at Rs 1,067.43 crore for Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 709.83 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported net profit of Rs 8.57 crore for Q2FY25 as against net loss of Rs 54.51 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 37.04% at Rs 1,064.45 crore for Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 776.73 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
