SPML Infra surges on securing contract worth Rs 165.41 crore

SPML Infra is currently trading at Rs. 206.60, up by 6.65 points or 3.33% from its previous closing of Rs. 199.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 199.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 209.60 and Rs. 199.95 respectively. So far 18449 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 321.70 on 01-Aug-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 152.25 on 23-Mar-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 234.95 and Rs. 187.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1728.67 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 40.19%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.47% and 44.35% respectively.

SPML Infra has secured a significant contract worth Rs 165.41 crore from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (RRVPNL) for the construction of 400 kV Grid Substation and Transmission Infrastructure at Dahra, in Kota, Rajasthan, to be executed in 18 months period. This order further strengthens the company's growing portfolio in high-capacity advanced power substation and transmission sector.

Rajasthan is at the forefront of India's energy transition, with one of the largest renewable energy producers in the country. The upgradation of high-voltage grid infrastructure is critical to enabling the reliable evacuation and transmission of power, both conventional and renewable across the state's rapidly expanding grid network.
