SPML Infra shines on securing water supply project worth Rs 1,073 crore

SPML Infra is currently trading at Rs. 304.65, up by 6.75 points or 2.27% from its previous closing of Rs. 297.90 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 305.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 315.00 and Rs. 301.25 respectively. So far 51366 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 321.70 on 01-Aug-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 137.00 on 18-Mar-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 315.00 and Rs. 258.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2135.63 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 35.12%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.20% and 49.68% respectively.
SPML Infra has been awarded a prestigious Rs 1,073 crore (inc. of GST) project by Indore Municipal Corporation for the augmentation of the water supply system under the AMRUT 2.0; an ambitious initiative launched by Govt. of India with the goal of making Indian cities ‘water secure’ and self-reliant. The project also includes a comprehensive 10-year Operation & Maintenance (O&M) contract.
The landmark project is designed to significantly strengthen Indore’s water supply infrastructure, ensuring reliable access to safe drinking water to its over 2 million citizens. The EPC part of the project is scheduled to be completed within 30 months (including rainy seasons) from the signing of the contract.
