SpiceJet gains after reporting passenger load factor of 86% in April

SpiceJet is currently trading at Rs 44.56, up by 0.09 points or 0.20% from its previous closing of Rs 44.47 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 44.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs 44.76 and Rs 44.20 respectively. So far 849776 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52-week high of Rs 79.90 on 16-Sep-2024 and a 52-week low of Rs 39.91 on 18-Feb-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 46.70 and Rs 42.69 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 6276.90 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.46% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.76% and 47.78% respectively.
SpiceJet has reported the Passenger Load Factor (PLF) of 86% during the month of April 2025. The company had reported PLF of 84.8% during the month of March 2025. The PLF is a key indicator of the company’s performance, as it measures the average percentage of seats filled on airline’s aircraft fleet.
SpiceJet is among the first private companies that stepped into the Indian aviation sector.
