Som Distilleries moves up as its arm to set up greenfield project in Uttar Pradesh
Som Distilleries and Breweries is currently trading at Rs. 113.25, up by 1.80 points or 1.62% from its previous closing of Rs. 111.45 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 111.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 114.25 and Rs. 107.20 respectively. So far 134923 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 148.75 on 24-May-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 86.64 on 13-Mar-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 119.10 and Rs. 107.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2326.68 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 36.32%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.92% and 62.77% respectively.
Som Distilleries and Breweries’ subsidiary -- Woodpecker Greenagri Nutrients is setting up a greenfield project comprising a Brewery, Distillery and other manufacturing facilities at Khimsepur Dist. Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh at a cost of around Rs 600 crore. The land parcel of 40 acres for the said project has been allotted by Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA).
Som Distilleries and Breweries is engaged in the business of brewing, fermentation, bottling, canning and blending of beer and Indian made foreign liquor.
