Smriti Irani performs Griha Pravesh Pooja at her Amethi residence
Union Minister Smriti Irani performed Pooja during her Griha Pravesh ceremony on February 22 in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. Her abode is situated in Medan Mawai village of Gauriganj Tehsil area of the Amethi district. She along with her husband and family members were seen performing Puja and Havan. The housewarming ceremony of the newly-constructed residence of Union Minister Smriti Irani was performed according to Hindu rituals with Vedic chanting. On Thursday morning, Smriti Irani along with her husband Zubin Irani entered their newly built house with a Kalash on their heads as a ritual for Griha Pravesh Pooja.
In a special interaction with ANI, Pandit Ashish Pujari who came from Mahakal, Ujjain to perform all the rituals and Pooja for Smriti Irani’s newly constructed abode said, “I came for the two-day-long Vaastu Puja. It has been done as per the rituals. A little temple has been built here and the consecration ceremony has also been performed here. The Griha Pravesh ceremony has been performed as per the correct method and rituals so that whoever enters the space feels the positivity.”
