SML Mahindra falls despite reporting 18% growth in total vehicle sales in September
SML Mahindra is currently trading at Rs. 6273.00, down by 308.40 points or 4.69% from its previous closing of Rs. 6581.40 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 6501.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 6566.05 and Rs. 6260.00 respectively. So far 3914 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 6908.80 on 28-Sep-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2700.15 on 21-Oct-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 6908.80 and Rs. 6,252.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9153.32 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.97%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.67% and 37.36% respectively.
SML Mahindra has reported total sales of 1124 units in September 2026, registering a growth of 18% compared to 950 units sold in September 2025. The company’s Cargo Vehicles sales jumped 39% to 516 units in September 2026 as against 370 units in September 2025. Further, Passenger Vehicles sales grew 5% to 608 units in September 2026 as compared with 580 units in September 2025.
