Sigma Advanced Systems touches roof on winning $104.9 million export order

Sigma Advanced Systems is currently trading at  its upper circuit limit of Rs. 547.50, up by 26.05 points or 5.00% from its previous closing of Rs. 521.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 547.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 547.50 and Rs. 547.50 respectively. So far 35355 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'T' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 638.30 on 25-Jun-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 105.00 on 25-Jul-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 560.00 and Rs. 472.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10374.92 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.22%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.26% and 28.52% respectively.

Sigma Advanced Systems has secured a $104.9 million (around Rs 1,013 crore) export order from a North American customer. The order is for the manufacture and supply of 147,000 units of 155mm base bleed artillery shell bodies which are in massive demand worldwide. The order will be executed in the next 6 to 12 months.

This order brings multiple long-term benefits. The order is expected to be margin accretive, supporting an improvement in the company’s overall profitability. Beyond its commercial value, the contract strengthens the company's credentials as a capable, export-qualified manufacturer in the international artillery ammunition supply chain and is expected to serve as a reference programme in support of the company's efforts to build relationships with new customers and partners in overseas markets.
