Shipping Corporation rises on signing MoU with CONCOR, JNPA, VOCPA, CPA, SMFCL

Shipping Corporation Of India is currently trading at Rs. 224.55, up by 3.00 points or 1.35% from its previous closing of Rs. 221.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 222.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 225.40 and Rs. 222.75 respectively. So far 50675 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 280.00 on 24-Oct-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 138.25 on 03-Mar-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 235.00 and Rs. 210.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10480.48 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.54% and 26.71% respectively.

Shipping Corporation of India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Container Corporation of India (CONCOR), Jawahar Lal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), and V.O. Chidambarnar Port Authority (VOCPA), Chennai Port Authority (CPA) and Sagarmala Finance Corporation (SMFCL).

The purpose of this collaboration is to acquire, own, lease and operate container vessels, containers and related assets for EXIM and Coastal trade as mutually agreed upon with ultimate objective of providing comprehensive end to end logistics solution to the customers by integrating expertise and experience of all proposed stakeholders with port based services, land and sea based transportation.
