USDINR trading range for the day is 96.47-96.73.

Rupee weakened, hovering near record lows as a stronger US dollar, elevated US Treasury yields and high oil prices increased dollar demand.

India Services PMI was revised lower to 55.2 in September 2026 from the preliminary estimate of 55.8, after a final reading of 54.1 in the previous month.

India’s HSBC Composite PMI stood at 55.9 in September 2026, down from a flash reading of 56.6 but up from 54.6 in the previous month.
