SBI Life Insurance Company surges after reporting marginal rise in Q4 net profit

SBI Life Insurance Company is currently trading at Rs 1671.00, up by 62.15 points or 3.86% from its previous closing of Rs 1608.85 on the BSE.

The company has reported marginal rise in its net profit at Rs 813.51 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025 as compared to Rs 810.80 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, net premium income of the company decreased by 5.00% at Rs 23860.71 crore for Q4FY25 as compared Rs 25116.47 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2025, the company has reported 27.43% rise in its net profit at Rs 2413.30 crore as compared to Rs 1893.78 crore for the previous year. Net premium income of the company increased by 4.31% at Rs 84059.83 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 80587.10 crore for year ended March 31, 2024.
