Samhi Hotels gains on opening new hotel in Kolkata

Samhi Hotels is currently trading at Rs. 175.40, up by 2.65 points or 1.53% from its previous closing of Rs. 172.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 168.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 176.30 and Rs. 168.35 respectively. So far 70879 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 225.60 on 06-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 120.35 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 184.60 and Rs. 168.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3893.23 crore.

The Institutions holding in the company stood at 65.90%, while Non-Institutions held 34.09% in the company.  

Samhi Hotels has opened a new hotel under the brand name ‘Holding Inn Express’ in Kolkata on May 06, 2025. The hotel, with 113 rooms, shall now be managed and operated by IHG under a long-term management contract.

Samhi Hotels acquires/builds primary hotels and thereafter renovates, rebrands and rerates the property and runs it.
