Rainbow Children's Medicare declines despite reporting 10% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit

Rainbow Children's Medicare is currently trading at Rs. 1344.30, down by 38.65 points or 2.79% from its previous closing of Rs. 1382.95 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1395.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1396.00 and Rs. 1342.90 respectively. So far 1762 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1708.50 on 26-Nov-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1079.25 on 25-Jul-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1425.55 and Rs. 1335.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 13651.59 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 49.85%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.99% and 11.16% respectively.
The company has reported 9.55% rise in its net profit at Rs 66.98 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to Rs 61.14 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 19.51% at Rs 394.41 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to Rs 330.03 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On consolidated basis, the company has reported 10.18% rise in its net profit at Rs 68.94 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 62.57 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 19.38% at Rs 411.36 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to Rs 344.57 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
