RailTel surges on bagging order worth Rs 164.78 crore from Western Coalfields
Railtel Corporation of India is currently trading at Rs. 287.80, up by 7.05 points or 2.51% from its previous closing of Rs. 280.75 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 287.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 291.70 and Rs. 285.90 respectively. So far 87928 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 413.10 on 17-Sep-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 244.95 on 30-Mar-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 297.50 and Rs. 275.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9252.65 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.96% and 22.19% respectively.
RailTel Corporation of India has received the work order worth Rs 164.78 crore (including tax) from Western Coalfields (WCL). The order is for the establishment of MPLS VPN network for WCL on rental basis for period of 60 month.
Earlier, the company had received the work order worth Rs 166.80 crore (including tax) from Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO)
