Q) How is the future FPI flow expected to be?
Asian markets rallied on the back of broad economic support undertaken by China, following the US Fed’s rate cut last week. FPI flows are expected to remain volatile.
Q) How are other emerging markets performing?
FPI flows to date in Sep’24 were mixed for emerging markets. Brazil, South Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam witnessed outflows of US$19 mn, US$5,085 mn, US$2,153 mn, and US$82 mn, respectively. India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand witnessed inflows of US$5,724 mn, US$1805 mn, US$195 mn, US$341 mn, and US$953 mn, respectively.
