"Bank Nifty closed with a bearish candlestick on the daily chart, slipping below the crucial 54,000 level, indicating weakness in the index. Immediate support is placed at 53,700, and a decisive breakdown below this level could extend the downside towards 53,000. Hence, traders should continue to maintain a sell-on-rise strategy as long as the bearish structure remains intact. On the higher side, resistance is placed in the 54,500–54,800 zone. A sustained move above this resistance band would be required to improve the short-term outlook."
