"Bank Nifty continues to trade in a consolidation phase; however, the index is repeatedly facing selling pressure near its crucial short-term 10-day SMA, indicating a bearish undertone. The downside risk may intensify if the index breaks its range support at 58700 and sustains a closing below it. On the higher side, immediate resistance is placed at 59,150, while support lies near 58,700. A decisive close below 58,700 could trigger further correction towards 58,350, where the 50-day SMA is positioned."
