Premier Energies rises as its arm gets nod to acquire 26% equity stake in Hexa Energy BH Five
Premier Energies is currently trading at Rs. 1035.05, up by 0.45 points or 0.04% from its previous closing of Rs. 1034.60 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1033.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1043.00 and Rs. 1025.30 respectively. So far 38709 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1163.50 on 19-May-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 660.80 on 01-Feb-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1,050.00 and Rs. 909.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 46954.47 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.94%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.42% and 16.64% respectively.
Premier Energies’ wholly owned subsidiary -- Premier Energies Global Environment has received an approval and entered into a Share Subscription and Shareholders’ Agreement (SSSHA) with the intention to acquire a minimum 26% equity stake aggregating to Rs 68.70 crore in Hexa Energy BH Five (SPV), a company engaged in the generation and transmission of renewable energy, in one or more tranches. The board of directors of Premier Energies Global Environment, at its meeting held on May 04, 2026 has approved the same.
The proposed acquisition is intended to meet the energy requirements for captive power consumption of the subsidiary’s Solar PV Cell Manufacturing Project at its manufacturing facility located in Naidupeta, Andhra Pradesh. Subject to satisfactory completion of the conditions precedent and closing conditions, as set out in agreement, the indicative timeline for the completion of the Proposed Transaction is 16 months from the date execution of the agreement.
