Powerica climbs on securing 50MW wind project from GUVNL
Powerica is currently trading at Rs. 583.95, up by 17.20 points or 3.03% from its previous closing of Rs. 566.75 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 565.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 586.55 and Rs. 560.00 respectively. So far 9281 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 675.00 on 24-Jun-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 365.10 on 02-Apr-2026.

Powerica has emerged as a winning bidder in the e-Reverse auction conducted by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) for purchase of power through competitive bidding process from 250 MW grid-connected Wind Power Projects.
The company has successfully secured the bid for 50MW project. The electronic reverse auction was finalized on July 09, 2026. The company’s discovered tariff was Rs 3.51 per unit, representing a 2.77% variance relative to the tender start-price. The Letter of Award (LoA) is expected to be awarded within the stipulated timelines prescribed in the tender document.
Under the mandates laid out in the tender framework, Powerica will enter into a direct Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the GUVNL. The power procured from this 50MW allocation will directly support GUVNL in fulfilling its Renewable Purchase Obligations (RPO). Subsequent to Letter of Award, Powerica will utilize its comprehensive in-house engineering capability to execute this project, ensuring delivery within the contractually prescribed tender timelines.
