Power Grid Corporation rises on acquiring Krishnagiri REZ Transmission
Power Grid Corporation Of India is currently trading at Rs. 285.65, up by 1.65 points or 0.58% from its previous closing of Rs. 284.00 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 291.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 292.00 and Rs. 285.10 respectively. So far 60990 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 324.80 on 27-Apr-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 250.05 on 02-Feb-2026.

Power Grid Corporation of India (POWERGRID) has acquired Krishnagiri REZ Transmission, the Project SPV to establish Inter-State Transmission system for ‘Transmission System for integration of Krishnagiri REZ Phase-I’, on build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis from the Bid Process Coordinator - PFC Consulting (PFCCL). The project comprises establishment of 2 new 765/400kV Sub-stations in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Further, the project involves construction of 765kV & 400kV transmission lines traversing through the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana & Karnataka along with associated bays.
Krishnagiri REZ Transmission has been acquired by POWERGRID pursuant to POWERGRID emerging as the successful bidder under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding.
