Below the Perspective on AMFI Data by Sanjit Singh Paul, investment manager on smallcase and Managing Partner: Modulor Capital
“AMFI Data for October 2025 is out and we see gold standing out. The average AuM of Gold Funds grows from 81,700.39 Crores to 102,088.00 Crores. This whopping increase of 24.95% growth is not only because of the increase in gold prices, but also attributed to the strong net inflows Rs. 7,743.19 Crores. This has been a second strong month of inflows in Gold mutual funds. While, yes the prices of gold are shining, there is also a change in investor behaviour with respect to how they now invest in gold. A contributing factor is also discouragement of buying Digital Gold by the regulator. Mutual Funds as a route to gold is finally gaining steam and becoming a major investment route”.
