Patanjali Foods gains on inking pact with Ministry of Food Processing Industries

Patanjali Foods is currently trading at Rs. 589.85, up by 8.20 points or 1.41% from its previous closing of Rs. 581.65 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 580.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 591.00 and Rs. 576.70 respectively. So far 49358 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 670.00 on 16-Apr-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 522.81 on 28-Feb-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 603.35 and Rs. 567.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 64062.21 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 68.83%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.22% and 6.95% respectively.
Patanjali Foods has signed a non-binding MOU with the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India. The MOU has been signed for proposed investment of up to Rs 1,000 crore.
Patanjali Foods (Formerly known as Ruchi Soya Industries) is primarily engaged in the business of processing of oil-seeds, refining of crude oil for edible use, production of oil meal, food products from soya and value-added products from downstream and upstream processing.
