Paras Defence jumps on signing MoU with IUAC
Paras Defence And Space Technologies is currently trading at Rs. 714.90, up by 6.60 points or 0.93% from its previous closing of Rs. 708.30 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 711.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 723.80 and Rs. 710.65 respectively. So far 13682 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 971.80 on 19-May-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 401.00 on 07-Apr-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 764.90 and Rs. 701.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5764.81 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.20%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.15% and 39.65% respectively.
Paras Defence and Space Technologies (PARAS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Inter-University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New-Delhi. Inter- University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New-Delhi is an autonomous Institute under the University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GOI), and carries out particle accelerator based basic research and development.
PARAS and IUAC will combine their respective capabilities in order to develop commercial- grade MRI magnet system for indigenous manufacturing in the country to make India a Self-Reliant in superconducting MRI Magnet technology, thus nurturing Aatma Nirbhar Bharat.
Paras Defence and Space Technologies is primarily engaged in the designing, developing, manufacturing, and testing of a variety of defence and space engineering products and solutions.
