Paradip Port registers highest-ever Cargo handling, becomes leading port on Eastern Coast of India
Paradip port registers highest-ever cargo handling in FY 2025-26, emerging as the leading major port on the eastern coast of India. Paradip Port Authority Chairman P.L. Haranadh says, “Paradip port achieved record cargo handling of 156.45 Million Tons in the last financial year. This is the best-ever cargo handling record in the history of Paradeep… It has continued its no. 1 position… It is the best performing port… The port is transitioning to 100% mechanisation within two years, which will further reduce cargo handling costs and enhance environmental friendliness. Additionally, the Western Dock project is progressing rapidly… The logistics costs for exporters and importers will be reduced.
