Paradeep Phosphates zooms on getting nod to set up Aluminium Fluoride manufacturing plant
Paradeep Phosphates is currently trading at Rs. 155.30, up by 16.05 points or 11.53% from its previous closing of Rs. 139.25 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 145.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 157.50 and Rs. 142.30 respectively. So far 3680459 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 234.05 on 29-Jul-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 99.80 on 09-Mar-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 157.80 and Rs. 132.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 16,340.81 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.28% and 18.86% respectively.
Paradeep Phosphates has received approval for setting up an Aluminium Fluoride (AlF) manufacturing plant with a capacity of 15000 MTPA at Paradeep. The proposed project will enable value addition to HFSA by converting a low-value by-product into a high-value industrial chemical, diversify the company's revenue streams into industrial chemicals, improve profitability and operating margins, strengthen fluorine management, support circular economy and sustainability initiatives, and create opportunities for future expansion into fluorinebased specialty chemicals. The project involves an estimated investment of around Rs 250 crore.
The Board of Directors of the Company, at its meeting held on July 28, 2026, has approved the same.
