NTPC rises on inking JV agreement with RVUNL
NTPC is currently trading at Rs. 401.40, up by 0.55 points or 0.14% from its previous closing of Rs. 400.85 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 400.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 403.90 and Rs. 397.40 respectively. So far 157643 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 448.30 on 30-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 234.40 on 06-Nov-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 417.00 and Rs. 393.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 389078.73 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.10%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.22% and 3.68% respectively.
NTPC has signed a Joint Venture (JV) Agreement with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam (RVUNL) for Chhabra Thermal Power Plant on November 4, 2024.
The both parties have mutually agreed to form a 50:50 partnership JV Company, which will own and operate the Chhabra Thermal Power Plant and also explore opportunities for its capacity expansion.
NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
