NTPC Green Energy climbs as its arm set to start commercial operation of 153.94 MW of Kalasar Solar Project
NTPC Green Energy is currently trading at Rs. 92.53, up by 2.56 points or 2.85% from its previous closing of Rs. 89.97 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 90.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 93.60 and Rs. 89.94 respectively. So far 148996 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 119.93 on 27-Apr-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 84.08 on 02-Feb-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 95.96 and Rs. 89.72 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 77151.47 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 89.01%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.87% and 4.12% respectively.
NTPC Green Energy’s wholly owned subsidiary -- NTPC Renewable Energy is all set to commence commercial operation of the second and the third part capacity of 73.06 MW and 80.88 MW respectively of Kalasar Solar Energy Project, Bikaner, Rajasthan, out of 650 MW of Solar component under 500 MW REMCL RTC Project, with effective from October 01, 2026.
The current commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy group stands at 11058.57 MW. With the addition of this capacity, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy group increases to 11,212.51 MW.
