NMDC rises on getting nod to incorporate Wholly-Owned Subsidiary in Gujarat

NMDC is currently trading at Rs. 72.07, up by 1.17 points or 1.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 70.90 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 71.76 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 72.62 and Rs. 71.25 respectively. So far 525652 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 82.72 on 10-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 59.56 on 07-Apr-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 72.62 and Rs. 70.03 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 63345.05 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.79%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.69% and 12.52% respectively.
NMDC has received approval for incorporation of a Wholly-Owned Subsidiary (WOS) in International Financial Service Centre (IFSC), Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT), Gandhinagar, Gujarat, subject to approval of Ministry of Steel, DIPAM and any other authority as may be required. The Board of Directors of the company in its 579th Meeting held on August 12, 2025 inter-alia approved the same.
NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel
