Muthoot Finance Invites Applications for Higher Education Scholarships; 210 Meritorious Students to be Granted Scholarships This Year
Muthoot Finance, India’s Largest Gold Loan NBFC has announced the launch of the 9th Edition of Muthoot M George Higher Education Scholarships 2025-26. Applications are now invited for its professional scholarship program 2025-26, aimed at supporting meritorious students pursuing higher education in professional courses. Over the past nine editions, the initiative has supported a total of 394 students, with an overall scholarship outlay of Rs.3.94 crore. Under this initiative, 210 scholarships will be awarded to meritorious students who have secured admission in B.Tech, MBBS, or B.Sc Nursing programs during the academic year 2025. Eligible students from Kerala and major cities including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata can now apply for the scholarship.
Applicants are required to select the region corresponding to their permanent place of residence, and not the location of their college of admission, while submitting their scholarship applications. Eligible students can now apply online through the official website:

* The candidate should secure 90% or equivalent grading in the qualifying examination (+2)
* The family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 2 lakhs per annum.
* The candidate should qualify the relevant entrance examination and should have obtained admission in a recognized educational institution.
Each selected MBBS student will receive a total scholarship of Rs.2,40,000, while students pursuing B.Tech and B.Sc Nursing will be granted Rs.1,20,000 each, covering the four-year course duration. 10 students from each stream - MBBS, B.Tech, and B.Sc Nursing (total of 30 students) will be selected for the scholarships from every location.
