Max Healthcare and Aston University Joined Hands to Drive Advance Academic and Research Collaboration in Healthcare Sector

Max Healthcare, one of the largest integrated healthcare service providers in India, and Aston University, United Kingdom, today announced that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish advanced academic and research cooperation in healthcare, medical sciences, and allied disciplines.

A key part of the collaboration between Aston University and Max Healthcare will be sharing knowledge. They will develop networks to allow knowledge sharing and communication between the likes of scientists, epidemiologists, data analysts, clinicians, public health professionals, and industry professionals in mutual research areas. The partners will develop opportunities for joint training, fellowships, and exchange visits, and hope to organise joint research symposia, conferences, and meetings.

Commenting on the partnership, Dr. Sandeep Budhiraja, Group Medical Director, Max Healthcare, said, “This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to integrating global expertise into our academic and research ecosystem. Collaborating with Aston University will enhance our capabilities in clinical research, innovation, and capacity building—ultimately helping us deliver better care to our patients and contribute to the global healthcare landscape.”

The MoU was signed by Professor Osama Khan, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (academic) at Aston University, and Dr. Vinita Jha, Director – Research & Academics at Max Healthcare, during a visit by the Max Healthcare team to Aston University.

This MoU marks the beginning of a strategic International collaboration. Both institutions look forward to jointly developing programs that benefit students, researchers, and clinicians across borders.
